Walking her dogs and beachcombing, Tasmanian artist Sally Brown uses the treasures she finds in her work. "I love the way stuff that is essentially junk can be transformed into a piece of fine art & suddenly it has value. And that value comes from good design, craftsmanship et cetera, which are all the right reasons, not simply being made from gold or huon pine or something expensive," she says.
