Happy Haus - WHITE SERIES

A brand new design by Brisbane-based architecture practice, Owen & Vokes, for Happy Haus has been installed on the Brisbane South Bank. This example modular house will be located on the corner of Grey and Tribune Streets and will be on display for a period of 12 months starting this month.
This is the second design created by Queensland architects for Happy Haus, a company that specialise in producing modular houses that are flexible and easy to install. Following the huge success of Donovan Hill’s DHAN range which was selected as one of nineteen designs by the Bushfire Homes Service to support the rebuild following the devastation of the Australian bushfires in February of this year, Owen & Vokes has now created the WHITE SERIES that can be simply arranged to create several house types, such as the suburban family, the share-holiday home, a couple’s retreat or a rental property.
The series reflects the idea of a freestanding pavilion with an open plan central ‘pod’ which can extend to as many outdoor spaces, bedrooms or common areas as you like. This singular open space can be divided to attain flexible room planning options. The ability to mix, match and add Happy Haus modules in the WHITE SERIES allows the home owner to modify the composition to suit particular lifestyle needs – and to either expand areas or downsize their space requirements, or even relocate, over time.
